1. Summary
ShopCrop("we", "us", "the Service") is a free tool that previews and fixes how product photos are cropped by TikTok Shop, Etsy, and Amazon. All image processing - uploading, previewing, padding, and downloading - happens entirely inside your own browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your images are never transmitted to, or stored on, our servers. We do not require an account, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information beyond the limited, standard analytics and advertising data described below.
2. Image data
When you upload a photo, it is decoded directly into an in-memory HTML5 canvas in your browser. No image, file name, or derived image is sent over the network, uploaded to a server, or retained after you close or refresh the tab. Downloaded "fixed" images are written straight from your browser to your device - we never see them.
3. Analytics - Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (e.g. page views, device type, approximate location, referring site). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and may collect your IP address (we enable IP anonymization). We do not use Analytics to identify individual visitors, and this data is never linked to any image you process. 4. Advertising - Google AdSense
This site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or www.aboutads.info/choices for non-personalized advertising options. Ad slots on this site reserve their space in advance so ads never shift page content while loading.
5. Your rights under the Jamaica Data Protection Act, 2020 (JDPA)
Where the JDPA applies to your use of this Service, you have the right to: request confirmation of what personal data (if any) we hold about you; request access to, correction of, or erasure of that data; object to or restrict certain processing; and lodge a complaint with Jamaica's Office of the Information Commissioner. Because we do not create accounts and do not store your images, the personal data we hold is limited to the cookie-based analytics/advertising identifiers described in Sections 3 and 4, which are collected and processed by Google as an independent data processor/controller under its own terms.
6. Cookies
Aside from Google Analytics and AdSense cookies, this site sets one local storage value in your own browser to remember that you've dismissed the cookie notice. It never leaves your device and contains no personal information.
7. Children's privacy
This Service is intended for business use by e-commerce sellers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
9. Trademarks and third-party platforms
TikTok Shop, Etsy, and Amazon are trademarks of their respective owners. ShopCrop is an independent tool that helps sellers preview how their photos may appear on these platforms. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, TikTok Shop, Etsy, Inc., or Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Platform names, logos, and UI references on this site are used solely for identification and descriptive purposes.
